About AniSeki

AniSeki is an Anime Convention based in the U.K, founded and organized by the Dutch cosplay YouTuber Dutchie. This convention is sure to be a blast for those attending!

We aim to listen to the community as much as possible and make this convention a dream to attend!


Even though our motto is “By Cosplayers, For Cosplayers” this doesn’t necessarily mean that only cosplayers can attend! Anyone can! You just need a ticket and you’re good! (As long as you stick to our rules and policies)

Cosplay is a hobby where people dress-up as their favorite characters! Weather that would be characters from TV, Comics, Manga and Anime, etc!


A lot of people cosplay as a way to escape reality a little bit and be a different person for a day! And a lot of them go to cosplay conventions to hang out and meet other people in Cosplay!


Some people make their own costumes and some people buy and alter theirs! It's literally for everyone and anyone! 


COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT!!

Even though they dress-up in costumes doesn't mean they always want pictures taken of them! Always ask first!

Anime Conventions are a type of cosplay convention together with Comic Cons!

While Comic Cons focus on Comics and TV Shows/Movies, Anime Conventions focus on Anime, Manga, and Japanese Pop Culture in general!


With many guests like voice actors from Anime and Anime Style Games! Or even the authors of Mangas themselves!

Or even merchandise and art of your favorite character!

There is always something for the average Anime enjoyer!

Yes! You can bring your own food/drinks and snacks! As long as you stick to our Food/Drinks Policy!


Any snacks or drinks purchased within the venue from a stall must be consumed outside of venue premises!

Yes! The Outside Area of the venue can be used as a smoking area!

We have no problem with filming content within the event! However, if any disturbances are made you will be asked to stop.

No.

You will be given entry immediately once tickets has been scanned! However, if you want to leave the venue and come back later in the day. You may request a token to take with you from our tickets staff member! You may be requested to give the token back once you've arrived back to the venue!

Not Really.

We can scan tickets from digital screens!

However, no one is stopping you from bringing in physical copies of your ticket!

We aren't aiming for a family friendly audience. However, 18+ and NSFW content still isn't allowed!

So no one is stopping you from bringing in your kids! (As long as they have tickets too)

You have to be 13+ to attend our event without an adult or parent present!

The Chelmsford City Racecourse where our event is held has a 600 space car park free of charge at the main entrance off the A131!

Once you've arrived at the main entrance at the Racecourse you will be heading under the racetrack itself through a pedestrian tunnel. Once you've arrived on the other side to your left will be where AniSeki is held! You will see banners with our logo at the entrance so you know your at the right place!


If you're ever lost do not worry as the Racecourse staff will direct you to the correct building!

If you're staying overnight for the event we strongly recommend choosing the many hotels located in the neighboring towns such as; Chelmsford, Braintree, or Great Notley!

No unfortunately, pets aren't permitted at the event.

We have a dedicated area for where our special guests will be located with their dedicated tables for signing, merch, etc.

Yes! At the event will be located 2 different food areas. The main fast food restaurant in the venue and a Japanese food truck outside for all the hardcore otakus!


HOWEVER, any food bought from stalls must be consumed outside the venue! Outside food and drinks are allowed as long as you stick to the outside food/drink policy!

Most stalls do except cash and card, however, it's always best to ask!

Yes, however if you want to spray it you must do it in a highly circulated area or outside.

Yes, you can bring your selfie stick and/or tripod. However, you must be aware of your surroundings while carrying them.

Yes indeed! The racecourse will happily provide us with security! If there is a problem please report to either our convention staff, venue staff, or security. And we will do our best to help!

Yes you can! When you plan on leaving and coming back please head to the ticket staff and they will give you a token! Once you come back you may hand the token in to the ticket staff to authorize reentry!

In the case of autographs that shouldn't be a problem! You just need to ask!


Unfortunately when it comes to gifts we do not have a say in that as it can be quite a safety risk, your best bet is to ask the guest at the event yourself!
